Nobel Peace Prize showers on President Barack Obama....
President of the United States Barack Obama has won the Nobel Peace Prize for this year. From the time he has taken charge he was on a single mission, just to fix the relations with all those enemy tagged countries, stop ill treatment of prisoners, help protect the interests of invaded countries. He never stopped in his peaceful approach. He definitely deserves the Nobel Peace Prize...

War of the Social Networking sites - Guess the winner!!!
Here is a chart of comparison between the social media gaints Twitter, facebook and myspace and the number of unique visitors to these sites. Just saw this somewhere on the huge web and thought to share with you guys. Facebook is growing without any bounds and Myspace as usually has got its loyal visitors but what is interesting is the growth of twitter, that is now a days a bit on the down side, may be that's just a hiccup.

Yahoo logo makes a sound similar to "Yahooooooooo" !!!
Someone was telling me today about their new catch. Whenever you get a chance, go to the Yahoo search homepage and if you can see the exclamatory mark that ends the Yahoo logo. Try and locate the dot in the exclamatory mark and click exclusively on it. You will hear the dot screaming out "Yahooooooooo"!!! in a sweet lady voice.
Remember to pump up the volume and definitely it is not safe for work, remember this...

Google celebrates the barcode invention...
Google is celebrating the barcode invention in its own way. Just look at the logo of Google in it's homepage of Google Search. You will now see a barcode in place of the usual Google logo. On this day 57 years ago a patent was granted to its inventors Bernard Silver and NOrman Woodland. Just thought to share with you guys...

Google chrome Themes by Artists.... Cute Move....
Slowly but steadily Google Chrome is winning hearts of net users. It is now targeting the areas where Firefox has been dominant and trying to master the trade. One such move is made yesterday and it involves Google Chrome 3, which comes with themes that you can download and install. Now they have intro-ed a new section called Themes by Artists.
This new addon to Google Chrome is such a cool thing. Its more like the themes addon for Firefox but here it is something different as you don't need to go to some other section and download them and install them. Chrome does all this for you and you can enjoy freely all the themes available. When you just press the "Apply Theme" button below the themes, Chrome automatically downloads the theme and installs it for you.
If you are in a doubt about how to access the themes in your Chrome browser, first update your browser to chrome 3.0 and then go to the tools section on the top right corner and then go to the "options" field and then select "Personal stuff" tab and in there you will find the "Get Themes" button. Upon clicking this button you will be directed to the themes page where you can play around.

World's 5 smallest countries, amazing !!!
Do you know how big is your country, do you have any idea how high/low is your country ranked on the basis of area/land. Here is a list of 5 smallest countries in the world compiled by neatorama, and the list goes as below:
This is the list of smallest countries according to the size of the land that they cover and that is based on the information that is provided by the authorities. But how funny is it that a place as big as a football field is a country and another country which is as big as a park has become the home for 35,000 people. How crazy is that??? Just thought to share with you...

Find the painter in the picture!!!
Click on the above pic to view it in a bigger size. There is a painter in this pic and he might be the only one who has painted all of that canvas. If you can find the painter within 5 seconds, you are a genius and you definitely don't need any contact lens, but if you can't find the guy in the pic even after 10 seconds then just scroll down for the pic in which I have pointed out where the guy is.
This pic was taken by Sam Javanrouh, born in Tehran/Iran, moved to Canada in 1999 and living in Toronto since then. He is one of my favorite photographers and photosharers. I have learnt a lot about photography just by following his site's feed and the varied pictures that he has captured in his little camera. Below is the link to his site, hope you too follow him and appreciate his work.

What is Google Wave - Slight introduction, my way!!!
Yesterday every where in the news channels to newpapers to facebook and twitter, everyone was buzzing about the new Google Wave and its 100,000 invites but what exactly is Google wave. I will definitely not tell you what it is all about but can guide you to someone with more knowledge about it or someone who got hands-on this one.
Actually I was one of those early birds who asked Google for the new Google Wave access but haven't yet received any invite from them. It's ok I am not upset or something like that, by the way who cares for one............ Baaaaahhhhhhhhhhh I want an invite!!! BAAhhhh I want an invite, I am desperate, the world is gonna end....
Ok seriously in the words of Mashable, Google Wave is a real-time communication platform, which combines the aspects of e-mail, instant messaging, social networking, web chat, project management and wikis. Waves can be embedded on any blog or website. Just like a facebook application, developers can build their own apps within the waves.
Google Wave is an open source application which means it will be easily innovated and can be adopted by developers with less trouble. You don't need to upload a file or attach it, you can just drag and drop the files so that everyone else can access it. That's so easy.
Right now I don't have access to one account of Google Wave, hence can't divulge much information about it to you. But once I get access to it, I will give maximum information about it. Keep cool, you will get access pretty soon as well....
